Last semester was crazy. I ended up with 3 Fs. I don’t know what happened to me, but I could never take my mind off sex. Every week I asked out a new girl. During midterm weeks when I was SUPPOSED to be studying, I spent nights thinking about how to “snag” certain girls (some of them had boyfriends). I didn’t go to class but instead went on daily lunch dates with girls. I seriously couldn’t concentrate AT ALL on my studies. Some of my textbooks were still in its shrinkwrap at the end of the year (no joke). Almost everyday I wondered what it would be like to have NO testetrone or to literally lop off my nuts (sorry for the graphic language). But I really could not control myself. My mind was too distracted. I don’t know why I couldn’t repress sexual feelings. What should I do to repress them later?

Are there any women who found ways to cope with it withOUT going OFF of birth control? Have people found that birth control that uses that different hormone (DSRVP? or something like that…) has a lower incident of causing lack of libido? It has been really difficult dealing with this and when I went to the doctor to discuss it, their only suggestion was to try family planning and my husband (and I) aren’t willing to take that much of a chance with getting pregnant. What should I do????

I’ve been on Depo-Provera (the shot you get every 3 months), Orth-Evra (the patch), and now I’m using Nuva Ring. All of which I have experienced this with. I have not tried the pill because I am 99 % positive that I will NOT remember to take it everyday!
